SAN Storage Engineer needed for a superb permanent career opportunity based in Nottingham. Hitachi and HP storage solutions experience is strongly preferred.

Key skills, experience + tasks include:
Hands-on maintenance, trouble-shooting + delivery of SAN, NAS, Backup + Disaster Recovery (DR) infrastructure solutions as part of the Storage Engineering team.
SAN Storage: Hitachi (HDS, VSP, Gx00, HUR Replication) HPE (3PAR), Dell ECS (Unity, XtremIO, VMAX, All-Flash, Recoverpoint) + Veritas NetBackup v8.1
NAS Storage: Hitachi (HDS, HCP, HDI) + Dell EMC (Isilon, Superna).
SAN Switches: Brocade DCX + Cisco MDS.
Leading storage infrastructure migration / upgrade projects.
BAU administration + maintenance of backup + storage solutions.
Creating infrastructure architecture diagrams + high/low level documentation.
Strong storage + backup security experience.
Knowledge of Agile methods, ITIL processes + ServiceNow ticket tracking would be helpful.
Advantageous: VMWare, vSphere, VRealize, Vrops, SRM, HPE Compute, Synergy, OneView, Vblock, Veritas, VRP, Cloud Point, Compression Algorithms, Encryption, Brocade Network Advisor, Fibre Channel Protocols + AWS/Azure.
Must be prepared to participate in team Call-Out Rota + including on-site presence (on average 1 week in 3 to 1 week in 6).
