Agile Delivery Lead - Inside IR35
We are currently recruiting for a Agile Delivery Lead to join a Large Insurance Organisation on a 9 month contract based in London. The successful candidate will be a seasoned facilitator who has vast experience with Agile and ideally the Spotify Delivery Model with experience of Scrum, Kanban, Essential SaFe.
The successful candidate will have experience as an Agile Coach, Delivery Manager and Release Train Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for building a high performing culture across 2-3 squads
- Help improve the practises we follow so the squads perform to their optimal velocity
- Effectively facilitate ceremonies and a continuous improvement culture
- Build a plan to build self-organising squads who pull work instead of waiting for work items to be pushed
- Work with the Product Owners translate the roadmap for any given capability into user stories
- Help develop dashboards within Azure DevOps to improve self-organisation
- Help formalise and embed practises around Definition of Ready and Definition of Done
- Ensure the release trains runs smoothly
- Ensure squads are continually working hard to improve their velocity
- Create transparency and predictability across squads using appropriate tool and metrics including release planning, cycle times, velocity, burn down charts, cycle times and value stream maps
- Work closely with project managers to ensure they have the information they need from a reporting stand point
