The Role

A vacancy has arisen in Property Services for an Apprentice Building Safety Administrator on a temporary basis.

The main duties of the role include to:

  • Provide routine administrative support to the Building Safety team to support the delivery of efficient services.
  • Support the effective coordination of services.
  • Raise and complete purchase orders, ensuring timely processing of invoices.
  • Ensure that all work is undertaken in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Work within defined objectives, workload guidance and agreed service standards and seek readily available assistance for anything outside known procedures.
  • Provide a high-quality service to the THT’s customers.
  • Operate and maintain standard internal systems and procedures in line with agreed operating guidelines.
  • Support data entry and the collation of relevant information to support team activity and ensure adheres to GDPR regulations.
  • Provide standard guidance to internal colleagues and customers with defined area of expertise, escalating or passing on specialist enquiries as appropriate.
  • Develop an awareness of other departments and service areas and communicate effectively with colleagues.

The Person:

It is essential that the successful candidate has the following:

  • Good standard of education, including literacy and numeracy.  A minimum of 6 GCSE’s is essential. In addition to this a minimum of Grade C/Level 4 is required in English and Maths
  • Good level of experience, knowledge and ability in the use of Microsoft Packages, such as Word and Excel
  • Able to work well within a team
  • Good communication skills both orally and written
  • A self-starter with the ability to work on own initiative
  • Willingness to learn and take on new skills
  • Ability to prioritise and juggle competing demands
