We are delighted to be recruiting for a Felixstowe based charity who are in need of a temporary Fundraising Administrator.
Duties:
Answer the fundraising telephone number and be the main point of contact for the fundraising,and campaign email inboxes
Liaise with other parts of the business to ensure that all enquires are dealt with in a timely and professional manner and the information provided is useful and appropriate.
Prepare and send out packs and provide information to fundraisers
Organise the community fundraising co-ordinator diary to ensure that events are attended and organised
Proactively follow up with current fundraisers to check progress and support needs
Update and maintain reports that detail funds received via different sources
Update and maintain records of donations
Knowledge, Training and Experience required
Knowledge of office systems to ensure efficient running of all administration requirements in particular MS Office, Outlook, Word and Excel
Demonstrable skill in answering emails and providing information to fundraisers
Experience of answering enquiries including sensitive or emotional enquiries and issues with a professional, empathetic, and kind manner
Use of CRM database/spreadsheet - inputting and maintaining information about fundraising / Workplace Wellbeing and individuals preferences for contact into the system
Can organise own day-to-day work tasks and activities
The hours for this position will be Monday- Friday 9am-5pm.
GBP9.87 per hour with Free onsite parking, 28 days paid holiday, Pension Contributions and flexi benefits.
This will be on a temporary position on an ongoing basis so the suitable candidate will neefd to be flexible.
We are also looking for candidates that are available to start ASAP due to the client need.
