Salary £29,000 to £31,000 pro rata
Charity Link helps thousands of local people facing poverty, hardship or crisis. We help by finding funds for people in need to purchase basic items such as beds, cookers, clothing, and in emergencies, food. These items can have a huge impact on people’s lives and ensure that local people and children are warm, safe and fed. Alongside our grant-making, Charity Link operates a Trust Administration service, providing administrative and governance support to other local charities.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the organisation and supporting the work of the Director of Operations and Director of Marketing & Fundraising to ensure the effective smooth running of the charity, contractual and regulatory compliance, and quality assurance. You will be expected to meet targets agreed by the Board of Directors and deputise for the Director of Operations in their absence.
The post will be based at our Leicester city centre office.
You will need to have excellent organisational and management skills, demonstrate attention to detail and initiative. You must be computer literate and be able to deal professionally with a wide range of people. It is also essential that you are a team player and can demonstrate your ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines. We are looking for a self-motivated, solution focused and creative self-starter with strong leadership skills.
