THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a Sales Administrator to join our innovative manufacturing company in Gateshead to cover a maternity role up until September, with potential for extension. This will be a great opportunity for you if you're able to start a new role quickly, you have strong administration skills and you enjoy working in a busy environment.

THE DUTIES

Your role as Sales Administrator will see you providing key support to the team. Your duties will include:

Processing sales orders from customers

Inputting commercial invoices into the system

Liaising with couriers regarding the dispatching of products

Liaising with other departments to chase for information on orders

Supporting with shipping documentation

WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE DO YOU NEED?

To be shortlisted for the position of Sales Administrator, you will need:

Prior experience in a similar role, with outstanding customer service skills

A strong telephone manner and supporting written communication skills

To be confident using Microsoft Office, with excellent Excel skills and experience

Strong organisational and time management skills

THE CONTRACT

This is a temporary contact, paying GBP9.50 an hour. You will work from 8.30am - 4.30pm Monday - Thursday and from 8.30am - 3.30pm on a Friday.

This is a maternity cover contract working until at least September, with the potential for extension.
