Scheme Cleaner

Salary: GBP17,894 - GBP18,745 per annum pro rata

Hours: Part Time 20 hours per week

Contract Type: Permanent

We're looking for an experienced Cleaner to provide a high-quality cleaning service to our St Augustine & Becket Court scheme in Tonbridge. In a nutshell, you'll ensure that the communal areas of the scheme are well maintained and kept in a clean and tidy condition.

What you'll be doing

• Cleaning surfaces (including internal glazing on doors etc)

• Ensure the laundry area is clean and that machines are cleaned out regularly

• Ensure that the kitchen and communal toilets are cleaned daily

• Wipe down all window ledges, woodwork and work surfaces to ensure they are clean and in a presentable condition

• Floor areas to be vacuumed or mopped as appropriate

• Dust and polish all areas as required.

• On a monthly basis, sweep out entrances, bin rooms and internal foyers as appropriate

What you'll need

• Experience of working with vulnerable adults or within a sheltered housing scheme

• Experience of cleaning

• Passionate about creating a positive, clean and safe environment for residents, guests and your team

• The ability to carry out your tasks independently

• Having a strong understanding of COSHH, Health and Safety and Safeguarding

• You have a great eye for detail and experience carrying out regular development inspections and cleaning
