Salary: £36,000 - £40,000 

Contract Type: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract - Full Time

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference and help shape the organisation through our newly formed Service Design team. Swan’s new Corporate Strategy aims to find better ways of doing things so that we improve lives and communities. This role will be working across the company, interacting with a variety of people and projects to redesign services to meet our aims. We are looking for someone who is keen to engage with our customers both internal and external to help better understand their needs, tackle business challenges, help them adapt for the future and drive innovation.

 

Main Purpose of Job:

To manage projects within a wider programme of Business Improvement / Business Change projects, responsible for managing small to medium size service design projects within a variety of business functions.

 

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Leading projects that will review the service design for specific processes across the company
  • Developing effective relationships and ways of working with internal and external partners that support ongoing effective design of services
  • Improving the efficiency of the design process and the consistency of our live services by developing and deploying reusable tools
  • Supporting the Head of Service Design to develop project strategies and budget as well as guiding and assigning work to the staff as appropriate and ensuring that projects meet objectives
  • Analysing and producing performance data for a variety of formats  

 

For the above post you will have/be:

  • Knowledge of change management and improvement management
  • Previous experience in delivering projects and Business Improvement / Business Change management 
  • Previous experience in leading workshops with internal and external stakeholders
  • The ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of client groups
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to produce clear, concise and accurate records, notes and minutes
  • Knowledge of housing, regeneration and construction would be beneficial
