Supply Chain Planner

Our Operations department plays a pivotal role in the successful operation of the business.
As a supply chain planner, you will efficiently manage and control our supply chain processes and procedures to ensure that we have enough stock of raw material, imported produce, customer trays and information via our ERP system to achieve the timely delivery of all customer orders. This should be achieved by ensuring timely and accurate analysis, planning and management of materials call-off, production demand planning and Product data maintenance in accordance with the business sales forecasts.
Supply Chain Planner Responsibilities
* Access and analyse customer sales orders
* Maintain Production Plans in accordance with business planning horizons and sales forecasts, adjusting daily following sales order receipt
* Item Number management on the business ERP system, raw material, WIP, FG etc
* Monitor production activity against plan and adjust schedules as appropriate, in conjunction with production teams
* Analysis and reporting of sales performance against forecast
* Timely Production Work Order/schedules placement
* Timely calculation and order placement of raw material demands
* Liaise with Account managers to establish sales forecasts and fluctuations in order patterns
* Liaise with relevant account managers regarding any customer supply issues that will require the products to be supplied by a competitor, or sent incomplete.
* Liaise with Suppliers / Procurement to ensure timely delivery of materials
* Liaise with internal contacts, production, field, procurement, distribution, and NPD to ensure effective information flow is maintained across the supply chain
* Monitor age of stock to minimise waste, while maximising shelf life and productivity.
* Timely completion of customer specific administration including, new line forms, daily and weekly amendment forms, count changes (list is not exhaustive)
* Timely completion of KP specific administration including, relevant spec alterations, launch forms (list is not exhaustive)
In turn we well expect you to ensure optimum product performance through timely and accurate placement of Materials Call-off/Orders and Production Work Orders in accordance with stock holding policies, sales forecasts, waste management targets
You will be in communication with production and Hygiene department to ensure timely and accurate maintenance of product data to enable the efficient processing across the supply chain.
This role is 0800 to 1700 however flexibility is required to suit the needs of the business and your shifts will include weekend working
