Offering supported living and residential care services, we use a range of approaches to empower individuals, help them to be as independent as possible and nurture their potential with dignity and respect.

We're currently looking for an enthusiastic Practice Leader to join our Supported Living service, which supports individuals with learning disabilities and autism.

The Role

As a Practice Leader, you will support the delivery of our Supported Living service in Plymouth.

Working with the Registered Manager, you will:

- Act as a positive role model to your team
- Help to deliver a holistic, truly person-centred service
- Organise rotas, appraisals, supervisions and risk assessments
- Train team members and ensure they have the skills to deliver an exceptional service
- Support continuous improvement initiatives

About You

To join us as a Practice Leader, you will need:

- Experience of providing services for people with learning disabilities and autism
- Familiarity with supervising a team
- A recognised care qualification, such as an NVQ Level 3 in Social Care
- A full driving licence and access to a vehicle

Knowledge of current CQC regulations would be beneficial.

Other organisations may call this role Care Team Leader, Care Supervisor, Social Care Team Lead, Care Team Lead, Senior Support Worker, Social Care Supervisor, or Care Practice Team Leader.

This is a 24 hour, 365 day per year service and you will need to be flexible to work as the service requires, including mornings, daytime, nights and weekends. In addition, this post holder will support the out of hours on-call service. Working hours will be 37.5 hours per week.

This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check and subscription to the Update Service, right to work in the UK and two satisfactory references.
