Position: Customs & Compliance Manager
Location: Folkstone, Kent
Industry: International Freight Forwarding
Salary: GBP40,000-GBP50,000

My client are a well established global freight and logistics provider offering multi modal logistics services to customers around the world.
Due increasing volumes we are now seeking to appoint and experienced Customs & Compliance Manager to join our ever evolving organisation, and become part of our customs brokerage team based at our central HQ in Folkstone.
We are keen to speak with individuals with experience in a senior management capacity who are heavily involved with Customs procedures and formalities working within the freight forwarding and International Logistics industry.
What you will be responsible for;
Leading a team of customs brokerage agents
ISO(9001) Certification requirements
AEO Certification requirements
Auditing ( ISO / AEO / H&S)
Updating of Government information/legislation or organisational information and
requirements
General Industry Compliance knowledge to support the company or the reliable sourcing of
information for: Customs, BIFA, Insurances, Destination requirements) Knowledge
Ongoing review and business support for the impact of Brexit
Customs department Set Up/Support
Ongoing review and business support for the impact of Brexit
