The company operates selling its insurance, assistance and service programmes to major clients and key accounts via multi sector offerings. This role will play a vital part in the team and will be expected to deliver exceptional levels of service between the business and the customer in line with the business strategy and company values. The Account Manager will have a hands-on, highly responsible client-facing role. Working closely with the commercial team, the Account Manager is responsible for initiating, developing and retaining strategic long-term client relationships. The role has a focus on maximisation of increased revenue, new business opportunities, and cross selling to existing and new clients.
Account Manager Responsibilities:
* Effectively manage client relationships to retain clients and enhance client profitability.
* Act as the primary day to day point of contact for all clients, responding to client needs efficiently and effectively
* Management of client governance.
* Assisting in the negotiation and agreement of client contracts
* Represent the client within the business, ensuring new projects/changes are delivered to their requirements and coordinating the resolution of issues
* Analyse marketing campaign data and trends, providing recommendations for further campaigns
* Track and manage client and new business revenue forecasts
* Use data across multiple channels to create summary and detailed reports and presentations for presentation internally and externally
* Identify and deliver business and performance improvement opportunities
* Enhance the profile of the company through the management of sector marketing plans.
* Launch and maintain marketing campaigns across new and existing clients and sectors
* Plan specific campaign activity to support delivery of business targets and objectives
* Using existing products, identify, approach and present to new and existing clients insurance schemes through to programme launch
* Identify new markets for existing and new insurance and lifestyle benefit products. Identify new business partners, approach and close
* Work with the in-house support teams to ensure the smooth and timely launch of new schemes and lifestyle benefit programmes
* Ensure the delivery of revenue targets for new business growth.
* To present SPB Group and SPB UK & Ireland group capabilities to new clients in order to win new insurance schemes and affinity programmes.
Account Manager Requirements:
* Strong account management experience within digital/internet/online background; insurance/financial services experience valued
* Excellent written and communication skills, proven ability to prepare and deliver professional presentations
* Sales and marketing experience is desirable
* Project management experience may be an advantage
* Excellent and confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills and professional approach
* Ability to persuade and influence others
* Numerate and confident with conducting analysis with a logical approach to problem-solving.
* Strong organisational skills with ability to prioritise and manage time effectively
* Resourceful approach at all times
* A team player with a collaborative work ethic, who can also work well independently.
This role will involve occasional travel to client's offices and therefore, you must have a full UK driving licence and own car which is insured for business use.
