As the Release Manager, you will contribute to our vision of being the favourite residential property manager, as recognised by others by:

Leading the release of new and updated technology safely through to Production
Ensuring environments are well co-ordinated and available for each stage of the development lifecycle, avoiding clashes
Facilitating post release analysis for continuous improvement
About you

You will have a deep understanding of cloud platforms, open-source and SaaS services to better enable and enhance the delivery of quality assurance and testing services

Being experienced in Agile software development is essential and experience in working in a DevOps environment preferable.

You are an natural communicator with excellent influencing, written and verbal communication skills

Main Responsibilities

Establish and own a set of environments, built from the multi-cloud, multi-partner landscape of FirstPort Technology - for example Salesforce sandboxes, Microsoft Azure and 365 tenancies, on premise, and private cloud - to create a core set of Development, Test and Production environments
Co-ordinate access to those environments, avoiding clashes from multiple testers
Co-ordinate QA activities, sourcing testers from the business and partners, ensuring software health prior to deployment
Challenge development and infrastructure teams to deliver highest calibre solutions
Own the release and deployment process to ensure that software is effectively tested and accepted into service correctly
Plan and manage deployments with multiple partners
Facilitating post release analysis for continuous improvement
Help define CI/CD pathways, tooling and processes
