LOCATION: Corby
HOURS OF WORK: (Apply online only) Monday - Friday - Two PM until Ten PM
BASIC SALARY: GBP23K per annum

Company Profile
Our client is seeking a Quality Associate to join their organisation based in Corby on a permanent basis. To assist with all liquid QC checks, administration, labelling and sampling within the R&D laboratory, reporting to the Senior Development Chemist and quality for finished goods area reporting to Quality Manager.
In this Quality Associate role, you will be responsible for:
To perform all QC checks on finished liquids to ensure they meet specification and are fit for purpose.
Ensure all QC checks are performed following Quality Controlled test methods accurately, precisely and correctly.
Ensure any out of specification results from QC liquid checks have been reported to technical. No liquids that have been found to fall out of specification should be granted as passed without a concession on approval from technical.
Responsible for issuing QC pass labels once QC checks have been performed and passed in order to highlight to production liquid can be used.
Ensure all liquid QC checks have been recorded and saved on the system correctly.
Responsible for QC checks of all chemicals at goods in. This involves ensuring the correct certificate of analysis for each batch is checked and is within specification.
Responsible for administration of chemical goods in checks on company system.
Responsible for labelling all chemical deliveries correctly and promptly so not to hold up production.
Support both Senior Development Chemist and Laboratory Technician with any lab tasks such as administration tasks, sampling and cleaning.
Work within the correct quality procedures and health and safety guidelines.
Ensure the laboratory is clean and tidy for both health & safety reasons and also so the laboratory is ready for any visitors such as customers and/or audits.
Any other tasks requested by your line manager, or any other business manager / director.
Quality finished goods area. In order to be successful as a Quality Associate you must:
Ability to follow written instructions accurately, precisely and correctly is essential.
As the role contains 2 out of 3 of the businesses critical control points, great attention for detail is essential.
Ability to work well both within a team and independently.
Comfortable with working on a computer, most of the administration for QC checks is computer based.
Comfortable working in a laboratory environment, i.e. laboratory coat, safety glasses etc will need to be worn within the laboratory.
