Trade Counter Store Assistant - Nottingham - GBP22,00-GBP25,000
Clemence Rogers are recruiting for a Trade Counter Store Assistant to join an established business based in Nottingham. You will be responsible for serving customers on the trade counter in a small retail outlet, checking and ordering stock and general housekeeping of the Trade Counter. You will have previous experience working within a similar position, have a high level of customer service, a positive can-do attitude and be computer literate.
You will receive excellent benefits such as 28 days holiday including Public Holidays, company pension scheme, company bonus, hours of work are 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday with free onsite parking.
Key Responsibilities of a Trade Counter Store Assistant
Maintain a well-stocked and tidy Trade Counter
Serve customers on the Trade Counter with a polite and professional approach
Input customer orders on the computer system
Answer the phone and help customers with queries
Check stock availability and assist with stock checks
Process returns for customers
Housekeeping of the Trade Counter
Manage promotions and point of sale materials
Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience working on a Trade Counter in a retail or customer service role would be an advantage
Confident, positive can-do attitude
Excellent customer service and communication skills
You will be a team player, have a helpful attitude with a polite and friendly approach
Well organised with the ability to multitask and work under pressure at times
Have previous face to face customer service experience
Be IT Literate
Salary GBP22,000-GBP25,000 depending on experience, bonus, 28 days holiday including Public Holidays, company pension.
