Do you want to take the next step within your career? We have a brand-new opportunity to join a Prime contract holder as their Training and Quality Lead. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Training and Quality Lead to join an established team across 3 different sites. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Lead IQA / IQA Manager / Quality Coordinator to take the next step in their career.
As a senior member of the team, you will work closely with the Director and Curriculum Leader to ensure a quality-driven approach to all areas of the provision. As the Training and Quality Lead you will support the delivery team, overseeing and continuing growth across all areas of the provision as well as the quality of the learner journey.

Main responsibilities of the Training and Quality Lead:
* Sample and monitor the work of IQAs according to the centre strategy
* To coach, develop and update assessors in the performance of their role through regular meetings
* To complete the approval process for new Qualifications and Standards to be delivered with relevant Awarding organisations
* Feeding directly in to the SAR (self-assessment reports) and the QIP (quality improvement plans)
* Responsible for planning, managing, delivering and evaluating programmes
* Ensure up to date knowledge of sector trends, workforce development needs and changes to related standards and qualifications
* To keep up to date with Awarding Organisation requirements through standardisation meetings and involvement in Awarding Organisation visits
* Promote and monitor high standards of attainment, success rates, progress and outcomes
* To ensure learners experience quality learning and assessment
* To facilitate External Verification visits to ensure timely completion of schedule
* To maintain regular contact with Centre Managers across each site to ensure consistency of the assessment process, target setting and timely learners' completion
* To deliver Assessor and Verifier units to staff as required, ensuring that registration paperwork is completed and sent to Administration for action
* To participate in monthly sampling activities, providing feedback to the Centre manager and supporting to make the necessary improvements
* To support inspection preparation activities
Skills and Qualifications:
* Functional Skills Maths, English and ICT Level 2 (or equivalent)
* Relevant occupational experience - Proven track record delivering quality and relevant up to date knowledge within the sector
* Assessment and Internal Verification / Quality Assurance Qualification (A1/ CAVA / V1 / IQA)
* Teaching qualification (CERT ED / PTTLS / CTTLS / QTS Status)
* Knowledge and understanding of Legislative and Qualification requirements as well as Government Funded training
* Experience of standards and IQA process
* Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision
