Working closely with the Run and Operate Governance Team you will be expected to govern, administer and coordinate Services Assurance and full testing activities specific to Services and Operational deliverables for the Programme, working alongside Test release managers to ensure the E2E quality of requirements and OAC's are delivered in completeness for the Services & Operations Directorate. Work closely with Services & Operational SME's, Third Party Suppliers, Business, IT & Networks teams to ensure requirements are translated accurately into robust test strategies, project test plans, test execution plans and test exit reports to ensure completeness and quality of tests for approval by the Services & Operations Teams

Key Responsibilities:

* Work closely with different testing work streams to understand, analyse and report back to the R&O programme the testing coverage and status

* Working with Services & Operational SME's to ensure their requirements & OAC's are mapped to specific test activities

* Be the primary contact for R&O reviews and sign off / approval of test deliverables

* Manage and underpin Services & Ops resources to support test execution and test plan / exit reports (Working with the release Project Manager)

* Cultivating strong, collaborative working relationships with Test teams, Service & Operations and with the wider IT, Security and business functions

* Manage and escalate test risks, issues & dependencies

* Work closely with Programme & Project team members to support internal reviews with Services and Support teams to support the creation of requirements

* Responsible for planning, underpinning resources and leading / executing War Gaming for new processes being introduced by the programme

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

* ITIL V4 - Preferred, alternatively in depth experience of Service Management Disciplines

* Testing coordination experience

* ISTQB Foundation certification - Preferred but not essential

* Proven relationship management/engagement skills and ability to communicate effectively with different audiences

* Proven experience of having done a Services Assurance & Test Governance role

* Familiar with various test products and tools (e.g. Quality Centre, Jira, Bugzilla etc.)

* Proven ability to translate scope and business rules into test cases/scripts

* Preference to have experience with Services Continuity & DR Test programmes

* Sound test process knowledge and expertise in testing life cycle

* Familiarity in different development methodologies - Waterfall, Agile, etc.

* Experience in coordinating with multi-vendor teams and On-shore Off-shore teams
