Job Description
Our client a leading insurance broker is currently looking to add a Insurance Sales Broker representative to their existing team. Our client is offering full flexibility for being home or office based as well as a opportunity to grow into a Directors level.
If you have 2 years experience as a Commercial Handler but looking to build into sales role and build your own clients then this is the role for you.
Duties:
* Grow a portfolio of Commercial clients through cross selling of existing business, networking and referrals
* To observe and promote the values of the group and to act at all times to achieve positive outcomes for client/stakeholders
* To generate new business and solid pipelines to add growth and value
* Develop successful & profitable relationships with both clients, insurers, suppliers and group companies.
* To facilitate the efficient handling of all commercial line insurance policies and to help significant contribution to a quality focused customer service.
* Develop & maintain good working relationships with clients and insurers to introduce new products
* Candidate must be able to demonstrate a telephone sales focus and face to face meetings
Required from the candidate
* Must be career minded as this role will lead to internal promotions
* Have a great understanding of Commercial Insurance
* Be able to demonstrate Negotiation ability
* Proficiency in customer care and sales
* General knowledge of the insurance market and legislation requirements
* Good written, oral communication skills
* Competent level of Microsoft word, excel, outlook and internet explorer
* Be able to demonstrate a 3 year business plan
