The primary responsibility of this role will be to act as the first point of contact for all customer telephone calls and emails and filter to the correct Account Manager or department dependant on the nature of the query. There will also be an element of customer account management.

THE ROLE

* Receiving high volume of inbound telephone calls and e-mails from external and internal customers

* Responding to the customer needs positively and taking responsibility to understand and resolve queries or issues accordingly

* Liaising with customer account managers and internal departments, ensuring that a satisfactory resolution to the query is met

* Taking ownership in keeping the customer informed and calling back customers when required

* Transferring calls to other internal departments in a timely and professional manner

* Ensure that all relevant information on any processes, new products and services is detailed

* Seeking revenue growth opportunities within a portfolio of customer accounts

* Completing annual price increases for all accounts within portfolio

* Maintaining and ensuring a 'Customer Centric' quality service is provided at all times

* Recording and maintaining customer records on internal systems; updating notes in a timely and accurate manner
