I am excited to release a fantastic opportunity with a leading Facilities and building services provider. I am looking for a experienced commercial professional with experience in a PFI setting. The commercial Lead will lead the commercial function for the PFI contract in Central London.

This contract is an education building services contract for 2 schools in Camden. The Commercial lead will work alongside the operational team on the contract supporting all commercial functions and will be reporting into the Lead Commercial Manager.

The key attributes I am looking for in being the successful commercial lead is someone with FM experience, a commercial background and be able to work alongside the operational team on site. Someone who has legal experience of managing disputes. This ideal candidate will be personable, able to work within a team and work independently managing disputes.

To be successful in your application and become the commercial lead you will have the following expertise and experience:

* Someone with strong experience across disputes and KPI mechanisms - this is a must.
* Handle pricing and change variations within contracts
* Worked on reconciliations previously
* Working closely with the operations team
* Handling contractual negotiations
* Ideally have PFI experience

Your role as Commercial Lead:

* Manage existing contracts, reviewing and completing contract amendments and liaising with clients.
* Manage all commercial procedures including change notices, utilities reconciliations, third party reconciliations, chargeable works and payment applications.
* Working with Finance Business Partner and Operational lead to improve contract performance and profitability across the patch.
* Manage cost value reports, supply chain processes, procurement and controls are in place to ensure compliance with company procedures.
* Prepare bottom up budgets and monthly forecasting for a number of hard services contracts.
* Ensure the FM budgets are managed and controlled in strict accordance with the contract and achieve savings where possible.
* Manage the strategic risk, acting to acquire new customers and manage client relationships.
* Ensure all services and facilities are available within the contract specifications to the most cost effective and efficient manner.
