Packhouse Manager
PC THOROLD LTD Vegetable growers and Packers require a Packhouse Manager
Tuesday to Saturday shift pattern with every 4th Saturday off.
A strong person is required to cope with the demands of the day-to-day operation. This is a shop floor role covering a large production area which packs for Retail, Foodservice and Wholesale customers.
Packhouse Manager Requirements:
* Experienced within a fresh produce packhouse environment.
* Working Knowledge of BRC would be advantageous.
* Organise workflow by assigning roles and responsibilities to ensure minimal downtime and maintain a cost-efficient operation.
* Oversee and coach employees/agency staff.
* Ensure good communication with QC department.
* Ensure all resources and assets are used efficiently and correctly.
* Adhere to company policies and procedures and enforce safety guidelines.
* Good command of written and verbal English and the ability to communicate to a multi lingual workforce.
* Positive, can do approach.
