Financial Accountant required for 2 month initial temporary contact basis (with potential to extend).
The position will report to the Financial Director and will be a hands on role.
Key responsibilities:
• Accounting entries for company.
• Reporting of financial results into group reporting system.
• Responsible for maintenance of P&L's & balance sheet by cost centre inc. prepayments, accruals, reconciliations etc.
• Responsible for all aspects of cash management inc. Accounts Payable oversight, payments, cash allocation, reconciliation. This will initially involve some focus to bring entries up to date.
• Maintaining control accounts such as PAYE, Accruals, Prepayments and Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Maintenance of Fixed Asset register
• Entry of data into the group consolidation data warehouse.
• Working with the Management Accountant
• Assisting with the statutory audit and replying to requests from auditors
• Ad-hoc projects in line with the FD's & Exec management teams requirements.
Candidates should possess:
Preferably ACCA or CIMA qualified Accountant.
Candidates qualified by holding relevant experience in a similar role, also considered.
SAP experience essential.
The role will offer interaction with a range of stakeholders within the business and the candidate must be a self-starter happy with working in a small team
