I'm looking for an ITP (Inspection Test Plan) Engineer to work with my client near Luton. This role could either be on a salary or daily rate depending on your preference.
My client is a small but successful contractor working in the groundworks and RC Frame sectors of industry.
You will be responsible for working as an interface between my client's design team and construction team- bridging the gap between office and site. You will report directly to the head of engineering and daily duties include the following-
Producing drawings for Engineers to work from in conjunction with the client's requirements. These will be for plots, drainage, roads and sewers.
Produce drawings for services including depth, type and materials used.
Issue all relevant information to sites.
Manage changes throughout the construction process.
Collate ITP and QA sheets for slabs and drainage and integrity tests for piling.
Provide occasional cover for Site Engineers if required
You will also need the following experience-.
Experience with AutoCAD • Excellent inter-personal skills • Team player • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail • Strong IT skills - Microsoft Office essential. (Excel & Word) • Willing to take ownership of a work task, produce the information required to high standard, within the time scales set. • Confident open communicator • Able to build creditable relationships with others. • Self-motivated and enthusiastic • A sound knowledge of piling, groundworks, and RC works.
This opportunity will suit either a Graduate Engineer with some on site experience or perhaps an Engineer that has had a couple of years on site and would like to work in more of an office based role.
