Civils Operative
As a Civils Operative you will play a key role in helping CityFibre to achieve our mission of delivering full fibre to up to 8 million premises across the UK. You could be responsible for excavating and/or reinstating in the highways to install new duct work and chambers which houses our fibre. You will work in a team to ensure both excavation and reinstatement is carried out with a high level of quality and precision whilst maintaining all Health, Safety and Compliance regulations.
Civils Training
This is a 2-week training course split out over a period of two separate week blocks. The first week of training will be delivered to assist you with your entry into the telecoms/fibre industry. The second week of training will be delivered once you have started work or have a job offer with a CityFibre Build Partner. This course is an unpaid, free of charge offering from CityFibre and you must be able to commit to attending the full initial week and be open to a role on the CityFibre network upon successful completion of training.
Please note: If required, accommodation (including breakfast and an evening meal) will be provided and reasonable travel expenses can be reclaimed.
