Our client is seeking a highly organised, driven, and motivated individual who can perform a multitude of tasks to support their growing ecommerce team.

The main purpose of this role is to focus on all online selling platforms to keep the content and products accurate and updated. The successful candidate will be involved in the ongoing development and optimisation of the website, improving the customer experience and the design of website pages including category and product merchandising.

The ideal candidate will be determined and enthusiastic team player who is able to perform effectively and efficiently under pressure. High attention to detail, excellent communication skills and a positive attitude are key requirements for this role.


* Ensuring the effective day to day running of the website, working with external agencies where appropriate to ensure a seamless customer experience

* Identifying trading opportunities and monitoring consumer trends

* Collecting onsite data and carrying out research to improve websites

* Ensuring products are set up accurately and promptly across all platforms

* Maximising online conversion through developing effective customer journeys

* Using web analytics to gain insight into user behaviours and providing regular reporting of performance across all channels including Marketplaces, along with recommendations

Person specification:

* Basic network experience and previous helpdesk / I.T support experience would be advantageous

* Have experience working within and uploading products on Magento, eBay, Amazon

* Experience and/or basic understanding of Photoshop, MS Office, Google Sheets and Google Analytics

* Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript

* Experience creating social media posts and Ads

* Show an ability to take direction and work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team

* Have a creative outlook and an understanding of web design

* Experience of product display and merchandising

* Experience creating mailshots and promotional banners

* Basic knowledge of phone systems and cloud technologies

* Ability to work independently and make decisions but know when to ask for support & guidance

* Willing to put forward suggestions to improve processes and customer experience

* Open to change and willing to adapt to business needs

* Appropriate and positive internal communication

* Ability to adapt to customers' needs and ensure priorities are met

Working hours: Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 5pm, Friday 8am - 4pm
Salary dependent on experience

There is a permanent role available, based upon the successful completion of a probationary period which will be worked as a temp through Recruitment Direct Leominster.
