Power Tools Training Manager
Reporting to the UK Blue Industrial (BI) Power Tool Retail Marketing Manager, this role is based at Bosch UK headquarters in Denham, specifically at the Power Tools Training Centre. It will also require travelling to see customers (e.g. power tool users, dealers, etc.), attend trade shows and exhibitions in the UK, trade bodies, and as required to PT HQ near Stuttgart.
* The PT Training Manager will be required to conceive strategy, and a resultant training plan that provides stakeholders inside Bosch (including sales and marketing personnel) and external to Bosch (including retailers and users), with face-to-face training sessions and courses, but more emphatically remote training via virtual 'digital' channels.
* In the execution of the above, the role will require working closely with central training (MKS at HQ) to ensure alignment with over-arching strategies, whilst ensuring requirements specific to local needs are met as far as possible; the training scope spans power tools, accessories and measuring tools (professional and DIY) with audiences' requirements ranging from elementary to more advanced levels.
* The role will take responsibility for the Power Tools Training Centre at Denham, and its related resources, including cost centre management, management of the facility, inventory control, day-to-day use thereof, and other related duties.
* The role will include supervision of the Power Tools Trainer whose role will be to support the PT Training Manager
* Regular assessment of the role relative to targeted Key Performance Indicators will be undertaken
