Belmont Recruitment currently have an exciting opportunity available for a highly experienced Project Officer to join Bradford Council's Health & Wellbeing Department on an initial 3 month temporary assignment. This is a full time position, working 37 hours per week (Monday - Friday).
As a Project Officer, you will be supporting the Commissioning Team in successfully delivering a range of change and transformation projects within the Department of Health and Wellbeing, as part of Adult & Community Services.
Your main duties will include:
* Assisting the Contract & Quality Assurance Manager in the delivery of overall assigned projects
* Actively assisting the Commissioning Team in the delivery of the projects in line with the Business Case and Project Lifecycle
* Creating deliverable project and communication plans, considering all stakeholders quality and risk management, benefits and scope of work
* Engaging communities to promote the work of the programme and planning / facilitating events when required
* Leading, motivating and negotiating project staff and external and internal stakeholders to ensure the project is successful
Requirements:
* Prior experience of working as a Project Officer within a public sector environment
* Experience of implementing change and project management
* Ability to successfully manage projects from initiation through to completion
