TECHNICAL OPERATIONS MANAGER
BASED DUNFERMLINE - EXCELLENT SALARY AND BENEFITS PACKAGE DOE
Based in Fife, ESS' client is amongst the UK's largest producers of PVCu window and door products for the domestic replacement, commercial and new build sectors. They are a household name, and a manufacturer of high-end bespoke products. The business has massively ambitious plans to grow their repair and fix, living space and windows divisions. In order to help execute this plan, they now need to recruit a Technical Operations Manager.
Reporting into board level, Technical Operations Manage will be the someone who can combine their technical expertise and leadership skills to support the management of a diverse operations team (supply chain, site operations/construction and manufacturing). Developing the existing systems and processes, driving exacting technical standards and helping build a culture of quality and service excellence will be at the heart what you do.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior colleagues in Manufacturing, Marketing and supply chain ensuring the business delivers a seamless customer experience. Key Responsibilities include:
Develop and implement consistent technical standards
Technology systems and process evolution
Actively promote a culture of service excellence
From the point that an order is confirmed, the Technical Operations Manager will be responsible for consistency of quality, therefore a background and qualifications in engineering, building surveying or equivalent is essential. The customer experience will be at the forefront of all decision making so suitable candidates must have a genuine enthusiasm for 5 star customer service.
The relevant candidate is educated to degree calibre in an Engineering (mechanical preferred) or Construction discipline (surveying, structural or architectural engineering). We are looking for a candidate supplying engineered or manufactured products to consumers and/or products and services to commercial clients. First and foremost you enjoy delivering best in class product quality and customer care/service. This role will suit a good commercial generalist, with a strong background in continuous improvement, systems, IT and people. The role will suit candidates from construction, energy products and services to consumers and engineering or manufacturing environments.
This is a great opportunity to join one of Scotland's household manufacturing names. Enhanced job security, training and development can be taken as a given. An excellent base salary is negotiable and this will be supplemented by a company car and fuel card amongst other benefits.
