Underwriter

Our Client is looking for an Underwriter to join a busy and friendly team to provide high level of service and technical expertise to Clients. You will be responsible for assessing risk and underwriting insurance risk , gather and assess all information, record, summarise risk and evidencing reasons for recommending insurance and causes of concern, calculating competitive premiums, using your delegated authority to approve your own cases on behalf of the insurer. Good communication skills are required and experience of legal indemnity insurance. Applicants are welcome from candidates based anywhere in the South East of England who are able to reach the Kent Head office at least 2 times per month
