Senior Underwriter

Our Client is looking for a Senior Underwriter to join a friendly and busy team to act as the Technical expert and oversee the Underwriting business conducted by the team. You will assist in all underwriting and business development activities to ensure company insurance targets are met, provide suggestions and ideas around development of products, trends and processes to better product offering, service standards and grow the business. You will report to the Underwriting Manager and have responsibility to manage the Underwriting team for all day-to-day operational duties alongside career development and yearly appraisals. Excellent communications skills are required at all levels within the organisation and to maintain good working relationships with Clients together with previous experience in Legal Indemnity Underwriting. Applicants are welcome from candidates based anywhere in the South East of England, able to get to Head office based in Kent a few times per month
