THE OPPPORTUNITY
Do you carry strong administration skills and experience, with excellent attention to detail, an ability to work at a fast pace and the confidence to use multiple systems? Are you able to start a new role within the next couple of weeks? If so, this is a chance for you to join an established and growing North East employer on a temporary-to-permanent contract as an Office Administrator in one of their key teams. Importantly, you will bring a positive approach and be an enthusiastic and confident communicator!
YOUR DUTIES
Your role as Office Administrator will be to ensure compliance with processes by supporting key business contracts. This will see you auditing pre and post installation documentation to ensure only compliant work is moved to the next stage of the process. Importantly, a lot of your daily work will be completed within strict contract timelines.
Your duties will include:
Processing installation paperwork from surveyors and installers, and submitting them for payment
Raising invoices on submitted jobs
Uploading documents and inputting data onto bespoke systems
Ensuring all works are checked for 100% compliance before submission
Accurately updating client portals
Telephoning sub-contractors and engineers to chase jobs and documentation
Maintaining excellent relationships with engineers
Providing administration and customer support throughout the process
Adhering to SLA's and flagging any issues
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
This is a full-time, temporary-to-permanent position. You will be made permanent after 12 weeks, following a successful probationary period.
You will receive a starting rate of pay of GBP9.30 an hour, rising to GBP9,40 after 3 months, GBP9.50 after 6 months and GBP10 an hour after 12 months. Overtime is also available and paid at time and a half.
You will work 40 hours a week and the current shifts are 9.00am until 5.30pm Monday - Friday (with 30 minutes' unpaid lunch break each day).
Benefits include 22 days' annual leave (plus bank holidays) and this will increase every year up to a maximum of 25 days. The business also operates other incentives to encourage team work and strengthen performance.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
To be considered for the Office Administrator role you must:
Be experienced working in administration
Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and to tight deadlines
Bring strong attention to detail and be very accurate
Have excellent communication skills, with a strong telephone manner
Carry experience and be confident using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Carry experience using multiple systems, including a CRM
Be able to work from head office (with the potential to work from home longer term)
