Gap professional are operating as an employment agency on behalf of its client, who are looking for an Human Resources Administrator
Job Type: Permanent
Location: Exeter
Hours of work: Monday - Friday 36.25 hours / 5 days per week Flexible hours working is available)
Salary: GBP18,000
Summary:
This is a newly created role for the firm which will be pivotal in supporting the modernising of our people offering and ways of working. The position will be normally based, within our HR department at our Exeter office; however, it is likely that for the first few months the role will need to be carried out remotely for either some or all of the time hence candidates will need to have the ability to work efficiently remotely.
Responsibilities:
Agreeing standard terms and discussing vacancies with recruitment agencies
Drafting and publishing of job adverts
Daily review and processing of all job applications including ongoing GDPR compliance and archiving
Administration of psychometric tests
Arranging recruitment interviews including booking virtual meetings
Obtaining and giving feedback on candidates after interviews
Communicating recruitment decisions to candidates and recruitment agencies
Day to day operations of work experience recruitment
Representing the Firm at career events including Universities, Schools, Colleges, our own office events.
Working closely with marketing on the Firm social media recruitment work and HR social media
Ongoing targeted LinkedIn candidate searches and contact
Drafting and communication of email offers to agents and candidates
Creation of contracts and offer letters
Production of recruitment analytics on a weekly, monthly and annual basis
Collating and monitoring of annual CPD records for the Firm
Checking examination results and communication to relevant members of the Firm
Communication and filing of training emails
Booking of training events including audit and assurance and tax
References, starters and leavers processes
Ensuring all staff files are compliant for existing team and new starters
Administration of HR systems
REQUIREMENTS:
Outgoing, socially confident and emotionally controlled
Resilient, able to multi task and work independently
Adaptable, organised and conscientious
Discreet, professional and team orientated in approach
Enjoys dealing with people, statistics and delivering excellent internal and external customer service
Passionate about all areas of human resources, recruitment and training
Exceptional IT and analytical skills including high competence in using Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and social media platforms
Able to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
Good written and oral communications skills
Experience of all or some of recruitment, training and human resources
Benefits:
