We are looking for an experienced Insurance Account Handler to join our reputable and fast-growing insurance client based in Hove. As a Commercial Insurance Account Handler, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, handling retention, renewals and cross selling other services. You'll also be working to grow your business with your existing clients and through following up new business leads and enquiries.

Responsibilities of this role will include:

* Managing relationships effectively with existing book of clients to ensure retention and growth

* Responsible for the renewals relating to policies

* Manage renewals ensuring the FCA deadlines are met throughout the process

* Following new business leads to grow your client base

* Cross selling and increasing profitability of existing product lines by encouraging clients to use added value services wherever possible

* Dealing with all calls of a technical nature from Insurers and Clients

* Handling your clients claims

You'll need to have Insurance experience, ideally strong personal lines experience or existing commercial lines experience and a knowledge of FCA compliance. Ideally you'll be working towards or willing to study for CII exams.

The salary is between GBP23,000 to GBP27,000 dependent on experience plus progression and benefits and the hours of work are 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
