My client is currently looking for a Professional Groundcare PDI Technician / Demonstrator to join the existing team in Hertfordshire.
Role Purpose:
Reporting directly to the Branch & Sales Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the assembly and maintenance of professional groundcare machinery, as well as supporting the Groundcare Area Sales Managers with all customer and supplier demonstrations of the branch to allow them to strengthen and grow their already successful groundcare business.
Essential Skills/Experience:
1. Good, sound knowledge of ground care equipment or similar
2. Proven experience within the Horticultural industry
3. Excellent customer service skills both face to face and over the telephone
4. Be self-motivated and able to work under own initiative
5. Clean and tidy general appearance
6. Has the ability to be influencing and persuading
7. Ability to diagnose hydraulic and electrical faults
8. Maintain a good general level of health and fitness
9. Excellent customer service skills as this is a customer facing role
10. Organised with attention to detail
11. Current trailer licence would be advantageous
12. Full clean driver's licence
Additional Information
Start Date: Immediate, but subject to successful candidates notice period
Location: Hertfordshire
Hours: 39hrs per week basic - 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4pm Friday.
Overtime paid at time and a half on completion of 39hrs Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Benefits: 24 Days Annual Leave (plus bank holiday), Company Sick Pay Scheme, Workplace pension, Staff Discount in Country Stores and Death in Service Cover (2 x salary)
