We are currently recruiting for a self-motivated Insurance Administrator to join an established and thriving company based in Ipswich town centre. As an Insurance Administrator you will be supporting a busy New Business team with day to day administration.

Duties

* To input new business policy information into system and to create policy documentation.

* Distribute policy documents via post and email

* Manage proposal form admin within the timescales required

* Request surveys if applicable and manage the associated admin within specified timescales

* Develop an understanding of New Business procedures

* Support New Business team members with adhoc team tasks

Skills Required

* Good and confident communication skills at all levels - written and verbal

* Good level of customer service skills

* Ability to build good working relationships

* Methodical and logical methods of working

* Excellent time management and organisation skills

* Good attention to detail

* IT literate and the ability to learn new software packages quickly and proficiently

* Knowledge of commercial property insurance underwriting beneficial but not essential

* Willingness to take on new tasks and develop the role as required
