We are searching for a skilled Fire Control Instructor to join our high-profile client in the defence sector based in the Middle East. The primary purpose of the role will be to ensure customers' needs are met by delivering effective training solutions in relation to their Naval Forces' range of military equipment.

Our client has a well-established overseas presence where they have developed a reputation for working closely with local partners to support economic development by transferring knowledge, skills and technology to add value and capability. Our client operates as a prime contractor under a Government to Government arrangement which is in place to provide equipment, support and training to the customer based in the Middle East.

Key Responsibilities

If you are an ex-military instructor currently in search of overseas jobs or have previously considered working in the Middle East, then this role will potentially provide a great opportunity to take the leap with a well-established and respected business in the defence sector. As Fire Control Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering Fire Control Skills Training within the Technical Institute for Naval Studies.

In addition to remedial classroom training activity, you will be accountable as Fire Control Instructor for the design and writing of assessment material as well as associated invigilation support for assessment of the customers' Naval Forces personnel.

About the Person

The ideal candidate for the position of Fire Control Instructor will be a graduate of an advanced military training establishment or industry equivalent. You will have at least 3 years' practical experience as a fire control technician/specialist working in a complex operational training environment.

It would be a distinct advantage that you have have at least 1 year's recent instructional experience in order to succeed in your role as Fire Control Instructor.
