Electronic Document Administrator

£20,900 per annum

Contract Type: Permanent

Hello, we’re the Pension Protection Fund. We protect millions of people in the UK who belong to defined benefit pension schemes. Our members rely on us to look after their pensions if their employers collapse and the pension schemes cannot afford to pay what they promised.

We’re looking for a keen eyed Electronic Document Administrator to join the business and be part of the team that are responsible for all electronic and scanned correspondence, ensuring it is accurately applied to appropriate work queues, to support the delivery of excellent customer service and put our members at the heart of everything we do.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is used to dealing with electronic and scanned documentation. Within the role you will be managing your own workload, ensuring that there is a real focus on attention to detail. You will gain the opportunity to join an organisation that values and respects their members and always has customer service at the forefront of everything.

Every member will have a different query, meaning you will be required to correctly ascertain and allocate complex work types to the relevant specialist team, work with our external provider to ensure quality control and work hard to be true advocates of exceptional customer service. Therefore, it’s essential that you have a calm, methodical and professional approach and are naturally adept at recognising complex issues with the ability to raise them in a clear and efficient way.

Our ideal applicant will have recent experience of processing electronic and scanned correspondence along with strong data entry and strong IT skills. Full training will be provided by our dedicated team of professional trainers on the Pensions side of the business, but any previous knowledge of the Pensions industry would be seen favourably.

Sound like you? Apply now.

In return for your skills, experience and commitment we’ll give you a challenging role within a business where you’ll get the support you need to develop your career.

You’ll also get an outstanding rewards package which includes a generous pension scheme, private medical insurance, health cash plan, critical illness insurance, volunteering leave, holiday trading and a discretionary bonus scheme.

We’ll also give you lots of opportunities for personal development and skills training.

Our Croydon office is just across the road from East Croydon station, which is around 15 minutes from Victoria or London Bridge, 10 minutes from Clapham Junction or half an hour from St Pancras.

We are a Disability Confident Leader, the highest accreditation under the Disability Confident Scheme. If you have a disability and meet the essential criteria for this role you will be guaranteed an interview.

We embrace diverse talent welcoming people with different beliefs, backgrounds and ways of working, and we aim to create an environment in which everyone can be themselves.

We are a flexible organisation and welcome the opportunity to talk about what arrangements may work best for you.
