A highly established, international specialist in Construction and Engineering are looking for an experienced Landscape and Ecology Operative ideally based within easy access to Thame to join their Landscaping and Ecology team with GBP27,729 Basic Salary + Package

Landscape and Ecology Operative will:

Landscape and Ecology Operative will be working as part of the Landscape and Ecology team carrying out essential maintenance works, including but not limited to: Grass cutting and strimming, Tree felling, Hedgerow clearance, Ditch clearance and Pond management
Landscape and Ecology Operative will participate in briefings, toolbox talks and training to enable all duties to be carried out in a safe and sustainable manner
Landscape and Ecology Operative will Carry out landscape works to a high standard.
Landscape and Ecology Operative positive attitude towards health, safety and the environment. Reporting any hazards on site to the team leader or manager.
Landscape and Ecology Operative will make sure machinery and equipment is kept in a good working condition and any faults reported as per company policy.
Landscape and Ecology Operative will be required to work a 42-hour week, Monday - Thursday 07:00 - 16:00 and Friday 07:00 - 15:30 with occasional night work as and when required.
Landscape and Ecology Operative will have:

Landscape and Ecology Operative will have landscaping experience of at least 2 years
Landscape and Ecology Operative will have HGV Class 2
Landscape and Ecology Operative will be within easy access to Thame
Landscape and Ecology Operative will benefit from a salary of up to GBP27,729 + 26 days + 8 bank holiday, overtime, stand by rota extra GBP100 a week

Chainsaw qualifications: CS30, CS31, CS32, CS44/45 and CS50 and use of chainsaw from a MEWP
Tree climbing and aerial rescue
Chipper and stump grinder qualifications
Digger, ditching and flail experience
PA1 and PA6 qualifications
Emergency first aid and forestry qualifications
Traffic management 12AB experience and qualifications
IPV non-live lane qualification
