This residential nursing home in Dorking is looking for a general maintenance person to work under the Estates Manager to carry out essential works.
Experience in a trade is useful but not essential. Ideally you will possess skills in:
* Painting and decorating
* Grounds maintenance
* Carpentry
* Basic plumbing and electrics
* Tiling
* Minor building works
* Making good
A minimum of 2 years or equivalent in providing caretaking property maintenance is required. A general understanding of health and safety and ability to work at height occasionally.
Flexibility to occasionally attend site out of hours is required. Due to nature of the role you should possess a full clean driving licence.
Experience in a care setting advantageous. All positions are subject to a full dbs check.

All staff are tested regularly, ppe is provided and visits are conducted in pods. staff will be offered the vaccine where available
