Our client is a provider of affordable housing and support services in the East Midlands.
About the role
They are currently seeking a Community Involvement Coordinator to join their team. The main purpose of this role is to assist in delivering a high performing, customer focused engagement and community investment in line with strategic objectives whilst dealing with the delivery of day to day involvement and investment services. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Working with other teams to plan customer engagement activities, reviewing responses and feeding key messages back to the appropriate managers
- Taking a lead role in involvement activities including events, focus groups, conferences and additional activities
- Ensuring that services provided are consistent and comply with all regulatory standards, policies, procedures and agreed action plans, targets and within agreed budgets
- Assisting in exploring opportunities to secure external revenue and capital funding to support and develop customer involvement and community investment further
- Facilitating, delivering and supporting training and learning for customers and staff embedding involvement across the organisation
- Assisting in the development of a new centralised customer engagement database
What they are looking for
Their successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Experience of working within a community engagement / investment environment
- Experience of project monitoring in customer focussed service organisation
- Commitment to delivering high quality customer service and continuous improvement
- Effective presentation skills with the ability to present to and engage with a range of audiences
- The ability to develop and maintain databases
- The ability to work under pressure, dealing with competing priorities and delivering results to tight deadlines
