Our client, based in Staffordshire, is currently recruiting for an Assistant Financial Accountant - Fixed Assets on a permanent basis. Our client is a global organisation operating from over 30 countries around the world, generating revenue of approximately GBP9 billion.
The position is due to start ASAP on a full time basis. The salary for this position is GBP27,000. Please note this role will be home working initially with a view to move to 50% remote working rota.
The ideal candidate will have either part qualified ACCA (F1-9 completed) or part qualified CIMA.
Duties will include (but not limited to):
• Ensure the accurate management of centralised asset processes including fixed assets, leases and capital expenditure
• Action all asset requests in an accurate and timely manner
• Hold responsibility for balance sheet and P&L reconciliations and justification for asset related accounts and maintaining the CapEx request platform and the transferring of data
• Process asset commissioning, acquisitions, transfers, disposals and lease postings
• Create asset records and validating WBS Elements within the SAP System
• Participate in the move from SAP system to Workday, ensure adhere to company and finance policies are adhered to, as well as all other reporting for own contracts
Experience required:
• Intermediate Excel (VLOOKUPS and Pivot Tables)
• Minimum two years' experience within the sector
• P/Q ACCA or P/Q CIMA
