We are looking for a fantastic Sports Coach to join the team at a Secondary School in Leicester. The school needs a Sports Coach to cover PE to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The role is to start as soon as possible on a long-term basis, 5 days a week.

About the Role:

The successful Sports Coach will have experience of working with children. They must be Degree Qualified or have relevant experience. They will be able to effectively supervise lessons ensuring pupils are engaged and on task. The Sports Coach will be working alongside a supportive and high functioning team and will be expected and desired to work as part of that team.

We are looking for an exemplary Sports Coach who has high expectations of self and others and is passionate about encouraging all pupils to achieve the best to the best of their ability. We want someone with excellent classroom management skills and a can-do attitude, who supports with an enthusiastic and dedicated approach. You will have successful experience working with children as a teaching assistant or Sports Coach.

Key Responsibilities of a Sports Coach

* Secure a high-quality engagement, effective use of resources and improve standards of learning and achievement for all pupils in consultation with the curriculum leaders, and school leaders.

* Supervise to KS3 and KS4 children to ensure the effective delivery of the school's curriculum.

* Support and encourage children into achieving the best results they can.

* Flexible and adaptable approach to school life

* In consultation with the Head Teacher to undertake other identified areas of responsibility as necessary to ensure effective delivery of the school's curriculum.
