We are looking for Humanities Teacher to join the Humanities team at a supportive and growing Secondary School in Leicester. The school needs an experienced Humanities Teacher to teach to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 to a range of abilities.The role is to start as soon as possible on a long term basis, the role could become permanent for the right candidate.

About the Role:
The successful Humanities Teacher will have experience teaching Humanities to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, you must have experience. They will have strong classroom management skills and be able to confidently plan, deliver and assess engaging and effective lessons. The successful Humanities Teacher will be able to work as part of a supportive and growing Humanities team and be passionate about their subjects.

You will have successful experience as a Humanities Teacher and of working with children of all abilities. Ideally, as well as being a proficient Humanities Teacher you would be able to contribute to the wider curriculum of the school. Key Responsibilities of a Humanities Teacher:
* Plan, deliver and assess fun and engaging lessons to pupils.
* Be adaptable in approach to assure all students progress and achieve.
* Be able to teach Humanities to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
* Have a strong classroom presence and behaviour management.
* Support a range of pupils where necessary and be a role model.
* Support and encourage children into achieving the best results they can.
* In consultation with the Head of Humanities to undertake other identified areas of responsibility as necessary to ensure effective delivery of the school's curriculum.
