Permanent Production Stock Controller
Location: Exeter
Hours of work: 8.30am - 5.00pm Monday to Thursday, 8.30am - 4.00pm Friday
Salary: GBP23,000 - GBP25,000
Key Responsibilities:
Utilise ERP/MRP and internal reporting.
Raise Purchase orders, analysing demand and production requirements and scheduled deliveries.
React effectively to sales fluctuations and supply problems to minimise out of stock lines.
Liaising with Suppliers to negotiate prices and control costs.
Liaising with Production Department leads in relation to stock.
Raise Internal works orders and ensure correct documentation is produced.
The maintenance of inventory accuracy, produces, control and practices around stock management.
Other administrative tasks to support the business may be required.
Experience, attributes & skills sought:
You will need to have existing experience with Inventory/Stock/Purchasing & Supply Chain within a Manufacturing environment, along with excellent planning and prioritisation skills, great use of initiative, and an ability to communicate at all levels. In addition, you will have strong problem-solving ability and be able to make sound decisions, working within deadlines.
