Simply Recruit are working with a leading renewable energy company who are looking to add a Gas Engineer to their team - with likely March starts available.
Our client have won a number of large contracts and are looking to add a number of people to their team based in Central Scotland.
Mostly domestic, the role will mainly consist of boiler installs with some service work as well - we are looking for people who have a background in working to a high standard, without supervision and with domestic boiler installation experience. You should have a good understanding of heating and installing cylinders and radiators/pipework.
With no callouts, and overnights rare and rotated between the team to limit the time spent away - allowing you to be home after work every night. Working away will come with notice but the current team are all happy to do their turn and our client is looking for someone like-minded.
You should have
* NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing and Heating
* Minimum 5 years' experience in similar works
* Up to date Gas Certificates
* Full UK Driving Licence (no more than 3 points) - Company vehicle provided
* And a genuinely positive attitude and desire to progress in your career.
Experience or an understanding of heat pumps would be advantageous but certainly not essential and additional training and upskilling is available for the right candidate.
A van, fuel card and work phone will be provided.
Most of the work is in Central Scotland, although there may be some travel to cover larger contracts as required.
