We are on the hunt for a skilled and confident Bookkeeper to join a well-established organisation on the outskirts of Belper managing their daily accounting and finances. This role is best suited to a capable and experienced Bookkeeper who can come in and hit the ground running with their workload. To be considered for the role, you'll require the following essentials:

Current or recent experience of working as a Bookkeeper or Accounts Manager
Good working knowledge of Sage 50
Experience in producing accounts up to trial balance
Understanding of Balance Sheets and Profit & Loss statements
Good level of intuition and initiative, who can pick up and learn things quickly
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a real eye for detail.

Within this position, you'll also be:

Preparing accounts up to trial balance
Liaising with an outsourced accountancy firm to assist with filing of end of year accounts
Dealing with the Factoring Company to control the invoicing facility
Processing VAT returns
Credit control - monitoring payments and chasing debt
Producing monthly management figures from Sage/Excel
Managing the Supplier Payments and Cash flow
Assisting the payroll bureau with payroll
Salary & Working Hours

Salary is GBP12 - GBP13 per hour

Working hours are 22.5 hours per week.
