Service Care Solutions are supporting a Drug & Alcohol service in the South Yorkshire area, and the service requires a Substance Misuse Worker.
This role is a permanent contract, to work 37.5 hours on a rota basis. The perfect candidate must have experience working with Substance Misuse service users directly, and must have great passion for providing support with the service users.
Objective of the post;
You must work with the Complex Lives service to engage people within Substance Misuse problems, with Treatment services. Providing therapeutic interventions across the area in group and 1-2-1 settings, and to ensure access to community services to provide holistic support.
On a day-to-day basis you will;
*Undertake comprehensive assessments, and implement risk management in line with the service's policy and procedures.
*Liaise with other health and social care professionals where necessary and appropriate.
*Undertake screening for Drug and Alcohol abuse.
Essential requirements;
*Previous substance misuse experience!
*Current fully enhanced DBS!
