LDH (La Doria) Ltd is the leading UK Own Label supplier of canned tomato products, fish, fruit and vegetables, dried pasta and other ambient foods to the major UK supermarkets.
We are seeking a Receptionist/Administrator for our new facility in Sproughton, Ipswich. This varied role requires excellent interpersonal skills and a professional approach coupled with a can-do, flexible attitude.
Acting as the first point of contact for visitors to the company's premises and creating an exemplary first impression of the Company.
Main Duties :
1. Dealing with general day-to-day queries.
2. Main switchboard call filtering and diversion
3. Meet and greet visitors
4. Provision of meeting refreshments
5. Packing and postage duties
6. Secretarial duties (e.g. audio-typing, copying)
7. Pool car administration including arranging services and scheduling.
8. Scheduling and carrying out requests from management as needed
9. Maintaining stock and ordering supplies
10. Answering emails and sorting post
11. Ad hoc administrative support across the business as required.
Required Professional Skills and Qualifications:
1. Strong oral & written communication skills
2. Excellent organisational and time management skills
3. Ability to work under pressure, independently without supervision.
4. Competent with Microsoft Applications including Word, Excel.
5. Demonstrates initiative and behaves professionally at all times.
6. Flexibility - 'can-do' attitude required to cover a variety of tasks.
7. Attention to detail.
Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications:
GCSE, grade C or above, English and Maths
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
