A fantastic opportunity to join a busy freight forwarding company based in Felixstowe. Our client is offering the chance to be part of a progressive business as a Trainee Freight Co-ordinator. The successful candidate must be willing to learn and to work towards industry standard qualifications. With the support of the team the successful candidate will be trained in all aspects of ocean freight imports / exports and customs formalities from start to finish.
Job Profile includes but is not limited to
• Dealing with ocean freight shipments
• Import / export operations
• Completing customs entries
• Quoting customers
• Booking with shipping lines
• Taking bookings
• Arranging collections/ deliveries
• Updating customers
• Building a relationship with clients
Personal skills required.
