We are recruiting a methodical and confident Credit Controller to join our reputable client based on the outskirts of Alfreton on a temporary to permanent basis.

To be considered for the role, you'll require the following essentials:

Current or recent experience of Credit Control (High Value ideally)
Comfortable with doing high volumes of payment allocations manually
Confidence to deal with queries from inception to completion
Excellent communication skills
Experience of reporting against collection targets
Within this role you will pro-actively contact all customers across the ledger, ensuring all invoices are received and cleared for payment. This is a great opportunity to take responsibility within the role and work in a key performance area of the business.

Within this position, you'll also be:

Pro-actively contacting all clients across the ledger, ensuring all invoices have been received and cleared for payment
Allocating cash received manually onto the ledger
Making notes for each client ensuring visibility of all contact both proactive and reactive
Highlighting any queries and actioning resolution/credits so invoices can be paid
Building rapport with the customer so they are confident in the support they are getting
Working to targets on all cash collection and keeping aged debt to a minimum
Ensuring all allocations are accurate with zero tolerance on unallocated cash
Working with other team members to run credit reports and monitor risk
Managing own reports for specific ledger so always up to date with current status of accounts
Raising credit requests, following the authorisation process and raising credit notes through the system as required
This role is going to be recruited initially on a temporary basis and will be made permanent after a successful trial period.

Salary & Working Hours

Salary is GBP20,000 - GBP24,000

Working hours are Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm
